- Attended college at Hardin Simmons University in Abilene where she earned a Bachelor of Education degree in English, and an Associate’s in Speech and Guidance counseling.
- Married Keith in 1987, and they were blessed with 9 beautiful kids (5 married and 5 grandbabies)
