Our parenting program offers one hour sessions in which we will discuss everything that parents need to survive and thrive in the 21st Century. You’ll be equipped with all the tools necessary to grow strong healthy families. We will cover the areas where parents and families often experience difficulties and provide godly solutions to overcome them.

Divorce

Divorce Recovery

Our Divorce Recovery program consists of one hour sessions that help minister to the crucial needs of adults who have experienced divorce. These sessions help individuals grieve over broken relationships, understand past issues that contributed to the divorce, understand how to reconcile relationships involved in the dissolution of the marriage, and deal with practical issues such as finances, employment, custody, legal needs, holidays, and emotional adjustments.

Anger Management

Anger Management sessions are an hour long and deal with various topics from finding the cause of your anger to overcoming your anger. Here are a few subjects we cover:

Drug & Alcohol

GOD14®
(Getting Off Drugs in 14 Weeks)

GOD14® (Getting Off Drugs in 14 Weeks) is a proven drug and alcohol recovery program focusing on three steps leading to the success of being free from drugs and alcohol.

Three Steps:

  • Detoxification through nutritional supplementation.
  • Identification and correction of mental and emotional triggers connected to the addiction.
  • Personal spiritual growth challenges are aimed at empowering the individual to remain addiction-free.

 

 *The treatment and recovery services are exclusively religious in nature and are not subject to the licensure or regulation by the Texas Department of State Health Services. This program offers only non-medical treatment and recovery methods such as prayer, moral guidance, spiritual counseling, and scriptural study.

General Information and Policies

  • Compassion Christian Counseling is a 501c3 non-profit religious organization, therefore we do not diagnose and do not accept insurance.
  • All counselors are board certified by the International Institute of Faith-Based Counseling (www.iifbc.com).
  • First-time sessions are generally an hour and a half in length with follow-up sessions being an hour, depending on the counselor and the situation.
  • All sessions are confidential.
  • All counselors are trained and required to notify child protective services or other authorities as appropriate.
  • Appointments can be scheduled and pre-paid online or by phone.
  • Payment must be taken at least 24 hours in advance to secure your appointment spot.
  • Please notify us 24 hours before your appointment time if you are needing to reschedule or cancel your appointment. All cancellations will incur a $5 processing fee.
  • Cancellations not made 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time will be charged a $25 fee
  • No-shows will be charged the full price of the appointment
