General Information and Policies

  • Compassion Christian Counseling is a 501c3 non-profit religious organization, therefore we do not diagnose and do not accept insurance.
  • All counselors are board certified by the International Institute of Faith-Based Counseling (www.iifbc.com).
  • First-time sessions are generally an hour and a half in length with follow-up sessions being an hour, depending on the counselor and the situation.
  • All sessions are confidential.
  • All counselors are trained and required to notify child protective services or other authorities as appropriate.
  • Appointments can be scheduled and pre-paid online or by phone.
  • Payment must be taken at least 24 hours in advance to secure your appointment spot.
  • Please notify us 24 hours before your appointment time if you are needing to reschedule or cancel your appointment. All cancellations will incur a $5 processing fee.
  • Cancellations not made 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time will be charged a $25 fee. 
  • No-shows will be charged the full price of the appointment.

  • We believe Jesus was without sin, and is both Lord and Christ, to the glory of God the Father. (Acts 1:9-11; 2:36; Phil. 2:9-11).
  • We believe that whosoever will confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believes in their heart God raised Him from the dead shall be saved. (Rom. 10:9-10; Acts 2:21; 1 John 1:12).
  • We believe that the Holy Spirit is sent by Jesus to indwell, empower, teach, guide and comfort believers. (Luke 12:12; Rom. 8:11; John 16:13; Acts 1:7-8, 9:31).
  • We believe that the Lord Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection from the dead provide for the healing of the spirit, soul, and bodies of all people.
  • We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ, who will come to rule as King upon the earth with the saints. (Acts 1:9-11; 1 Thess. 4:13-5:2; Rev. 19:11-21, 22:20).

About Us

Compassion Christian Counseling​

CCC was founded in 1998 and provides Christian, faith-based counseling services with a focus of ministering to the whole person – spirit, soul, and body. Using scripture, prayer, and Faith-based Therapy, trained and seasoned counselors offer confidential counseling for individuals, families, children, and teens who are struggling with life-controlling issues. 

How does counseling help?

Counseling can improve self-esteem, confidence, and spiritual issues. For example, counseling can help people deal with life’s everyday, often overwhelming, issues.

How long will I need counseling?

Each individual and situation is different. There is no set amount of time that can be prescribed to a particular issue. The counselor together with the client can best determine if only one session, a few sessions, or a much longer period is required.
